Project Two

LittleBits Instructional Video

For this project, I worked with my team to create an instructional video for elementary students. In order to help students develop their skills in the STEM field, we prepared an assembly video guide for the Denton ISD Professional Development Center. The purpose of this video is to show students how to build a camera clicker with LittleBits. Students will invent a camera clicker that can take photos wirelessly from their phone. Our team aims to inspire students to think, build, and collaborate with other individuals.

Camera Clicker Assembly Tutorial

In this video, students will learn how to invent a camera clicker that captures photos wirelessly. They will be able to take a sequence of pictures or record video clips. Below is a simple list of what we will demonstrate:

  • building and powering the circuit

  • connecting the device via Bluetooth

  • using the device to take photos/videos

Storyboard

LittleBits are designed for children to develop important STEM skills with easy-to-use building blocks. For our storyboard, I developed a sequence that is informative and appealing for the kit.
