Content Analysis of My Writing

This assignment is a content analysis of my writing style in English courses. As a double major in Technical Communications and English, the writing style and use of language is different. I compared the writing style of my assignments from 2017-2018 and analyzed the readability metrics. The content samples were compiled into an excel spreadsheet and categorized as an essay, analysis, or critique. I primarily focused on the sentence length, vocabulary density, and readability scores.

For this report, I have inventoried the content samples of my writing in English courses. The two topics that I analyzed in this report is the sentence length and readability level. By using text analysis tools and readability metrics, I gathered a significant amount of data to conceptualize two samples. The goal of this analysis is to develop a deeper understanding of my writing and how it can be improved. I have constructed an outline of the methods used, findings, and results from the gathered data.
